Water pump solarization

Water pump solarization is the process of installing a solar PV system to run an existing AC pump that either runs on the main grid or diesel generator. The system consists of solar panels, hybrid pump inverter and associated accessories that include cables, mounting structure and switch gear. It is important to do the proper calculation to ensure that the correct size and number of solar panels and hybrid solar inverter are used. Basically, the total wattage of the solar panels should be 1.5 times the rating of the AC pump to be solarized. The hydrid inverter should also be of a higher wattage than the AC pump.


We undertake the complete design, supply and installation of Water pump solarization process. The payback period is about 1 year on average depending on a number of factors. We also have a lipa polepole scheme where someone can pay a 10% deposit, we undertake the installation and the client pays in 12 monthly installemts.

Bellow are solarization cost indications but the actual cost can only be determined after a site survey as every system is unique.
